3. Estimates and Contracts

• Free estimates are provided as a professional assessment only. An estimate is not a binding contract and does not obligate either party to proceed.
• A formal written contract or work order will be provided prior to the commencement of any paid work. Work will not begin until you have reviewed and signed the agreement.
• Prices quoted are valid for 30 days from the date of the written estimate unless otherwise noted.
• Material costs are subject to change due to supply chain conditions. If material costs increase between the estimate and project start date, we will notify you before proceeding.

4. Payment Terms

• Payment terms will be specified in your written contract. Typical terms require a deposit before work begins and the balance upon project completion.

• Invoices not paid within the agreed timeframe may accrue interest at the maximum rate permitted by California law.

5. Workmanship Warranty

Salinas Insulation warrants that all labor performed under a signed contract will be free from defects in workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of project completion, unless a different warranty period is stated in writing in your contract. This warranty covers defects caused by our installation work and does not cover damage caused by third parties, acts of nature, pre-existing structural conditions, improper use, or failure of materials supplied by the customer. Manufacturer warranties on materials are separate from our workmanship warranty and are governed by the respective manufacturer's terms.
